Yes, we do look like Ah Moi n Ah Chong. So what? Its in our roots and we r proud of it. My sisters (not me, coz I'm the odd one out), my children and the rest of my family have been facing the same old stares n looks over n over again the whole time. Yes, we know we look like Chinese and you don't have to point it out. So whats wrong with that??In fact that's how we inherits these brains...great minds!
Sometimes it is better to laugh off the awkward situations..Like years back during the Chinese New Year holiday. It happened that my brother was driving and there was a road block ahead of him. As he rolled down the screen, the police on duty looked at him and the question popped out was " Tauke, balik raya ka?"
The same thing happened to my sons. After knowing that they are Malays, the word they get is " Ingat cina tadi."...Always! The feminine gender are more lucky. They were being saved by their dressing and head gears.
Anyway, we do not mind at all...Tidak ada yang berbeza di sisi Tuhan melainkan amalan...Tak gitu???
